Marc Marquez was finally beaten in 2025 at the Grand Prix of the Americas. The six-time MotoGP rider crashed out of the race from the lead on lap nine. It was a repeat of what Marquez did last season – he crashed while leading for Gresini at turn one, handing the win to Maverick Vinales. In 2025, the Ducati rider was caught out in the rain as he ran too high on the wet curb at turn four. Neil Hodgson could not believe Marquez used the curb in the wet conditions.
